Agreement on the International Carriage of Perishable Goods
International agreement regulating the technical and hygienic conditions for the road transport of perishable foodstuffs at controlled temperatures.
ATP (Accord relatif aux Transports internationaux de denrees Perissables) is an international treaty to which Romania is a party, which establishes standards for refrigerated, isothermal and heated vehicles used in the transport of perishable products. ATP vehicles must be certified periodically, and the ATP certificate must be on board the vehicle throughout the transport. It is mandatory for the international transport of frozen, refrigerated or temperature-controlled food products.
